私には2人の男の子がいます。まだ10歳にも満たない幼い存在。

彼らと触れ合っている平凡な日常の中で
この国だけでなく　世界中の人類の歴史の中で　
息子を戦場に送り出してきた母親の気持ちを想像してみます。

絶えることなく人間の歴史の中で続いてきた国と国
人と人との争い事は　そのまま人類の歴史を描き続け
教科書の中だけでなく、今も争いの歴史は脈々と続いています。

人は賢く進化しない　

それぞれが正当性を主張し

殺しあい、奪い合うことをやめない　

それはやっぱり人間だからなのかな。

むなしくなるような自問自答に　さいなまれながら

それでも

一番近くにいる人達に　

自分ができることはないか　探しながら生きていけたらと思います。
